IMPORTANT ANOUNCEMENT BELOW

Everyone, I have a MAJOR favor to ask of you all! As you all may know I am unemployed. I actually haven't been working since January of this year, although when I was laid off I had a few thousand dollars saved in my savings account to hold me over until I got another job. Well the problem is that the other job never came, and I'm now here 9 months later, and while I may not be a very big spender (I'm very wise with how I spend my money), after 9 months of not making any money, well it starts to take a toll on you. I don't have the biggest fan following on the web, but I do know that a fair amount of people visit my site (and I hope that everyone is visiting my site because you enjoy my reviews). And that's why I need your guys help. I am really at the bottom of the pits financially, and even though I'm on unemployment right now (where I won't be getting my next check for another month thanks to some computer error or something) I am in need of some money. So I need to ask you guys, if everyone here can just spare $1.00 or more, then I would really appreciate it, and you would be greatly helping me out. However I also know that everyone else here may also be on a budget, which is why I'm going to be offering rewards for the money you give me...or in other words, I'm not asking that you give me money for nothing. For every $25 I get in donations, I'll post something on this website as a reward for your support. For the time being I'm going to post this unfinished list of rewards for donations, and I whenever I receive a donation I will update this site right away, so that you know where we are. I would like to thank all you guys in advance for any donations you can give me, and below is the list of awards I'm working on, and if anyone would like to make a rewards suggestion then just e-mail me.

$25.00: An extra review posted for the week.
$50.00: A whole week of new reviews (Monday thru Friday).
$75.00: A new editorial.
$100.00: A new monthly feature.

I'll post more ideas as I come up with them (or as they are e-mailed to me). Again, thank you all for whatever you can do to help. To help out either click no one of the Amazon Honor boxes, or PayPal me your gift with the PayPal button on the side. Thank you

Donations received so far: $0.00

Sorry about the delay folks, but getting back into a full college scheduel is just so stressful the first couple of weeks. Now that I've slid into my new scheduel updates should return to normal starting now with my review of "Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy." See you guys on Monday.

Due to pressures from school, the only review that will be posted next week will be on Friday.

Friday, August 20, 2004 0:08 AM

Despite all the studying I have had to do since college started back up again, I still managed to find time to write out a review for Erica Sakurazawa's "Nothing But Loving You." I'd talk more, but it's time for me to get back to the books. And when I say books I mean real text books, not books with a bunch of pictures in them. Oh well, see you guys next millennium.

Last chance to get some cool manga and anime!

Monday, August 16, 2004 11:18 AM

Just to let you all know, the reason I am late updating today is because I start college again today (I'm FINALLY learning how to speak Japanese), and for some reason I stupidly decided to wait until the last minute to buy my school books. How last minute are we talking here? This morning. On top of that I have a job interview this afternoon, and THEN I'm going to class tonight! Needless to say, if my future schedual is anything like this week is, then we'll see whether or not I'll be able to do two reviews each week (I may shorten it to one). But no need to worry about that now since I still have several reviews I wrote during my vacation that I still haven't posted yet, so it may all work out in the end. By the way, anyone here want a free iPod? Well if you do, then visit this link:

http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=8032476

And sign up for just ONE offer, and get five other friends to sign up! Right now all I need if four of you to sign up, and a couple of these offers are free trials that you can cancel once you do the sign up (although I didn't go with that offer, I went with the seven CD's for the price of one offer). Anyway just in case you guys are interested in getting a free iPod, then by clicking on this link we can all start helping each other out. See you guys either Wensday or Friday with a new review (depends on my schedual).

For today's review I'm going to cheat and post my review of "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie," which opens today. I'm cheating because this review was originally published on my other website Yu-Gi-Oh! Uncensored, and the changes made to the review are minimal. This review still counts as a comic book movie review though since "Yu-Gi-Oh!" was a comic book before it became such a huge success. Anyway enjoy the review, and don't forget about the stuff I'm selling on eBay right now. Seriously, I want to get rid of this stuff so that I have some money to buy some of the serverly discounted "Maison Ikkoku" and "Ranma ½" DVD box sets from Right Stuf. See you guys Monday with yet another new review (hmm, maybe I'll post three reviews next week too maybe).

Wednesday, August 11, 2004 1:05 AM

As a special Wensday bonus, I've uploaded my review of "Maison Ikkoku" for you all. Also it is (yet again) time for me to point out that I am currently selling several manga and anime DVD's on eBay right now. Check it out, see if there's anything you like or not.

Another day another review. I have now posted my two cents for "Sonic The Hedgehog: The Beginning." Also just a heads up to everyone, but I'll be posting new reviews on both Wensday and Friday this week. Have fun!

Friday, August 6, 2004 0:36 AM

For those of you who just get through the day without reading one of my reviews, I have posted my review for "Flowers & Bees" (God that has got to be the STUPIDEST title in the whole freaking WORLD). Also does anyone out there know what happened to the "Case Closed" manag, which to my knowledge was supposed to come out in June, but here I am in August and I still haven't found the darn thing. Even Amazon.com doesn't seem to know what happened to it. I normally wouldn't ask these sort of things on my homepage, but I tried to ask the question over at the Anime on DVD message boards, and I got this rude reply (and she STILL didn't answer my one simple question). Yeah, for those of you who don't post on the AoD message boards I can't say I blame you. Speaking of "Case Closed" did you know the DVD is coming out this month? It is, and this is one of the BEST new shows I've seen in a long time! If you are interested in getting this set you could pre-order by pressing the button on the side bar and help support this site. Now excuse me while I go manage my money enough so that I can get the set myself.

For those of you who have always wanted to review manga for a real website that you don't have to set up yourself, then you may be interested in knowing that Lister X is currently looking for good reviewers to help out with the site. Check it out if you'd like, just tell them I sent ya. Check back tomarrow for a new review.

Monday, August 2, 2004 12:00 PM

Hey everyone, sorry for being a little late in posting the review today, but I was just SO busy yesterday that when I got back home to post it I just found myself too tired to post anything. So I'm posting it now instead. Go on and read my review for "Your and My Secret." And don't forget to check out the junk I'm selling on eBay.
