I have posted my review of Del Rey's below average "The Wallflower." I'll try to update again later today with my thoughts about yesterday's Oscar show.

Sorry for there being no updates this week, my internet was down all week and I couldn't get online. Luckily I could still write, so there will be three updates this week instead of two. An update on Monday, Wensday, and Friday. Of course, Monday is tomarrow, which begs the question why I'm even bothering to bring this up today.
...
Who knows, I'm weird like that. See you tomarrow.

Ack! The review is late being posted. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to forget to post the review, it's just that Cartoon Network was showing an encore presentation of the new Seth MacFarlin show "American Dad." For those of you who are unaware, MacFarlin is the (sick and some say baffling) genius of the hit show "Family Guy," maybe you've heard of it? Anyway, this new show he's created looks like "Family Guy," has a bunch of idiots like "Family Guy," and like "Family Guy" the humor is almost completely random. It's also funny pretty hilarious at times. Despite the fact that I laughed out loud a few times, I don't see the show catching on quite as well. Had "Family Guy" never existed I probably would have loved the show more, except "Family Guy" DOES exist, and because of that the comparison's between the shows are pretty similer, except "Family Guy" has more charm (if that's what you can call it)! Hey, this is the same problem I had with "Futurama." But hey, let's not be bitter, it could end up being pretty good. Plus with this and "The Boondocks" coming to Adult Swim in the fall, I now have a new reason to watch the block (which I felt had been getting stale since "Case Closed" got canceled). Oh yeah, the review. Review for the product placement driven "Megaman: NT Warrior" is now up. Enjoy.

And so after a week of rest, I am now back and ready to update my little comic book site again. However I don't have a review up for you all today. I had one written, but then Viz anounced that they were releasing a shoujo manga anthology to the US market, and well, I just had to comment on it. So check out my latest editorial in the Editorials section, and I'll see you guys on Friday with that review.

I know I said I wouldn't be updating for a week, but as much as I love "The Iron Giant," I realized that I am so sick and tired of seeing his lovable mug sit underneath my counter after all this time. Seeing as how I am really too lazy to be bothered with picking an "Item of The Week" these days (for the time being) I decided to put the pre-order button for "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" up in place of "The Iron Giants" button. I figure that this book is going to be a HUGE pre-order sensation, at 40% off the cover price it will be hard to resist, and if I get too lazy to change the link there is a good chance of a getting a good number of clicks there a month! The best part is that the book doesn't come out till June, so if the item stays there for months on end I won't look ailly for not changing it! BWAHAHAHA!!! Now what was I doing before this....oh yeah, writing my paper. Sorry guys but the real world calls. See you in 11 days.

I have posted my two thoughts for "GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka." I figured it was time that I write a couple of "traditional" reviews before tackling another controversial review. And how many people wrote me e-mails that I was forcing certain beliefs I had on them with Monday's review? I may not be updating at all next week. I'm letting you know this in advance because I want to take a week off so that I can write a paper for school, and I know that I will more likely then not not be able to find time to write reviews, so come back on the Monday after next for a special update (not a review, but something else). However if I do finish my paper early then you can rest easy knowing that I will spend some time on a couple of those new features I talked about. So see you guys later.

For your reading pleasure I have posted my first review for a syndicated comic strip series. Enjoy reading (what will possibly be my most controversial review on this site...yes, even more controversial then the "Fruits Basket" review) my review of Guy Gilchrists "Your Angels Speak." I had intended to post this yesterday, but there was a neighborhood blockout almost the entire day, and by the time the power came back on I had to leave in ten minutes for school (yes, college has started again...whoop dee do). So that's why this review wasn't posted yesterday (and just for the record, a review wasn't posted on Friday just because I was feeling lazy). I would like to let you guys know ahead of time that sometime withen the next couple of weeks I'll be starting my first new monthly feature on this site, written by yours truly. What will it be about? Well I can't tell you yet. However I WILL tell you to come back on Wensday starting next week, as Wensdays will be "Feature Update Day!" So yes, three updates a week. Will I survive? Doubtful, but I'll try. If worse comes to worse I'll just stop updating for two weeks while I get several reviews and features written and ready to post. And for those of you who are planning to go to the movies this weekend, here's some friendly advice: DON'T go see "Hide and Seek" with Robert DeNiro! It started out good, but by the end of the movie I was so sick of the cheap tricks and phoney ending that I want'd to tear my hair out (I didn't though, mainly because I like my hair and the movie was free, so all I lost was some of my time).
