Sorry for the lack of reviews last week. I offered to fill in for Kevin this Monday and Friday since his grandmother died, and so what was going to be last Wednesday's review is today's. I'm also going to have a new review up Friday instead of Wednesday. But next week I think we'll be goiing back to the regular schedule. "Another note, 4Kids really, really sucks, and they know how to offend people, anime fan or not. Al Kahn said right next to manga distributors at an NYC convention that manga will fail because "kids won't read". He is the CEO of 4Kids. Before all of your mouths drop to the floor, I want to add in that he is an idiot who doesn't keep up with the manga world today. Even though I'm an anime fan, I now only see anime in Anime Club at school (Trigun, for those who were wondering), so manga is what I mostly read. Of course, since they've now been licensing animes with no manga equivalent in the US, Mr. Kahn doesn't care about this. My advice: DO NOT SEE ANY 4KIDS ANIMES, INCLUDING ONE PIECE, YUGIOH, YUGIOH GX, WINX CLUB, MEW MEW POWER, SHAMAN KING, OR MAGICAL DOREMI. For now stick to Adult Swim anime, or something like Naruto. There's no point in watching their shows until they treat everyone with respect, viewers and anime fans included.

I know I'm late with the review today. My grandma died yesterday, and I wasn't much in the mood to do anything. I do have a finished review today for you here, but I'm going to warn you that Monday's review is not a garentee at this point. We're going to have to see how I'm feeling by then. With some better news though, we here at The Comic Book Guy.com are now having our very first contest. Thanks to our friends at Warner Brothers, we have a cool contest where you can win some cool "V For Vendetta" stuff. As you all know, "V For Vendetta" is a new film coming out from those guys who made some trilogy about machines controlling humans in a virtual world that resembled our world a couple of years ago, and it looks very cool. I'm very excited about this contest. Make sure you spread the word too, and if this contest is a success we can have more contests in the near future. Anyway, catch you all later.

Good day to all! One day after Valentines, and in Japan, girls have to do the chcolate-giving. Guys have to do their present-giving on White Day in March. I say go girls if you actually give your food to someone you care about. And I did Singing Valentines for five class periods yesterday in school...It was fun, but singing the same songs over and over again can get tiring. "The best thing you can do today is buy or check out "Othello" today and start reading. You can read today's review to find out why.

Got a new webcounter. The host of my last webcounter went out of business or something, so I have a new one now. Not as nice as the old webcounter, but it works none-the-less.

And now to insure that you don't visit today and see Wensday's update, I bring you another one of those horrible abominations for a comic, DRD (Dead Review Day):

Again, these comics are not "Penny Arcade,"but they are at least something to look at. As the abovw comic illistrates, I have been sick the past few days, and rather then try to force a review out of me, I just decided to get some sleep instead (though at least one friend was wondering why I couldn't just dust off my self banned "Peanuts" review). At any rate, Jaya will have a new review up Wensday, and then I should hopefully have a review up Friday. Well, going back to bed now. Later.

Hello, everyone! I am Jaya Lakshmi. You may know me from my editorials on Yugioh Uncensored, but now I'm reviewing comics as well because I think that the job will be interesting, especially working with Kevin. A bit of warning, though; I tend to read good series more than bad series for the simple reason that I don't want ot waste my time on rubbish. But as a reviewer, to know art, you need to know trash. Anywya, I hope you enjoy my first review, which is of "Magic Knight Rayearth."

Hey guys, in case you didn't know, Warner Bros. recently released one of the best superhero shows to air on Cartoon Network, "Teen Titans," on DVD in a complete season set that contains all thirteen episodes from season one on one two-disk DVD set. I am chosing this DVD to support for two reasons. The first reason is that "Teen Titans" is just a darn good show, and this season contains some great episodes like "Masks," "Sisters,""Apprentice," and "Mad Mox" (a personal favorite, if only for that totally cool chase sequence in the middle of the episode). The second reason is that if you are a fan of the show, then you are most likely aware that Cartoon Network is flirting with the idea of cancelling the show (it was confirmed, then denied, then they told us maybe), and buying the first season would help show your support for the show to continue (and wrap up some open story threads). So for a little while, I'm supported "Teen Titans Season One." You can buy it through the link on the side bar. Oh, and the pictures should be posted tomarrow sometime.

Oh, two more things. Sorry for forgetting to post the review...again. Yeah, I've been very forgettful these days. But hey, better late then never right? Also pictures for the review WILL be added later on (most likely tomarrow or Wensday). So yeah, that's all. Have a great day.

Hey guys, sorry about forgetting to post a review Friday, things got pretty crazy, so I forgot to post a finished review I had written. So Friday's review is being posted today. That review is for Del Rey's "A Perfect Day For Love Letters." Just a heads up: It's back to writing bad reviews for a time period. With that said, I have an anouncement to make: I've hired a new reviewer. Well, not really hired, since no one (me included) is making any money from this site, but it's cool either way because now there will be two points of views here. And second opinions (which means there may possibly be a good review of "Fruits Basket" up someday...but no garuente on that one). The new reviewer's name is Jaya Lakshmi, and not only does she show some real growth potential for her reviews, but she's also less strict on series then I am (stop clapping, I can hear you you know). Her first update will be this Wensday, and for the time being she'll be updating on Wensdays. Which means this site will be updated three times a week now. Pretty cool huh? Come back Wensday to see Jaya's debute review (which I'm not spoiling here).
