I've posted a second opinion of "Battle Royale" by Jaya up for you guys to read. I actually have a review written, but I've sat on posting this review for awhile, so I think it's only fair to post her review first. After you finish reading the review, come back here, we need to talk. First of all, I would like to thank all my loyal visitors who come here on a weekly basis. I may not have the biggest review website on the net compared to Comics Worth Reading and Anime on DVD.com, but the fact that I have visitors who go out of their way to come here on a weekly basis means a lot to me. And that's why I think I owe it to you to talk to you right now. I get e-mails once every couple of weeks from people suggesting titles I review, and then asking when the reviews are going to be going back to the weekly scheduel they were once on. The truth of the matter is, I just don't know when I can go back to doing one review a week, much less two. I've spent most of the year writing my books (a novel and a book on the Academy Awards, which you can sample at my MySpace blog), I work almost forty hours a week, and I am taking three classes at college and have papers to write on a weekly basis.

With all this work, something was going to get neglected in my life, and my comic site seems to have been the thing that suffered the most. At first I just shrugged it off and told people that I was working on getting this site updated weekly again. The problem is, I've been apologizing for the lack of updates for the past few months, and I'm at a point where I just don't know when this site will return to weekly updates, if ever again. This website is part hobby, part serious career practice (which would be literature critism), but this site is mostly hobby. I don't make any money off this site, I pay for the servers, and this is the site that produces the least amount of rewards. Aside from the wonderful fans and the sheer fun of writing, this site isn't exactly producing much for my life. I love it dearly, but I have to admit to myself that I don't have the time to update it as frequently as I'd like. Therefore, I'm going to announce right here and now that this site is NOT closing, but I'm not commiting to a weekly scheduel anymore. I'll write reviews when I can, and then I'll post them either on a Monday, Wensday, or Friday! I won't exactly slack off by putting off my reviews here, but I'm not promising weekly reviews anymore. Most likely I'll post something every two weeks, but again, no promises.

I'm not saying this to discourage you guys (or even weasle money out of you), I'm just saying this to be honest. I think you guys need to know the reality of the situation I'm in, and that reality is I don't have the time to update this site the way I once did when I didn't have so much going on. The site will go on, but on a less frequent update scheduel (though Jaya may have time to produce more reviews then I do at the moment). Thank you for your support, and I'll try to get reviews done when I can (and sorry Greg, I'll try to get the rest of the interview up before the end of the year). With that said, I also want to point out that the "Second Annual The Comic Book Guy.com Really Cool Stuff Sale" has now taken place. In this auction we have:

  • Various TV shows on sale starting at $0.01.
  • A signed Penny Arcade sketch.
  • A signed Rurouni Kenshin book by creator Noburo Watsuki.

  • And much more...

So if you'd like to help support me, this site, and get some cool stuff all in one, then check out the auctions through the link above. Oh, and have a Merry Christmas.

So here it is, my verdict on Kingdom Hearts. I hope you enjoy reading it, and if you don't, then enjoy rereading Kevin's. I didn't hate the series too much, as I am going to read the Chain of Memories continuation as well as the sequel. But honestly, Disney should have women writing the story for once.

Hey guys, I've updated my review for "Bleach" with some new comments as well as a new grade. Hopefully this will prove that I am man enough to admitt when I was wrong the initial time around. See you all later. Don't forget to check out my auctions. Thanks to the $0.10 cent sale at eBay, I'm selling some autographed CD's, Penny Arcade lithographs, and a signed "Eldest" book. As well as those anime DVD's, manga, and those stamps. Later guys.

Hey guys, the review will either be up late tonight, or by Wensday. Can't be helped, I'm sorry. On a side note though, since you are here, if you (or someone you know) are interested in collecting stamps, then you might want to check out my auctions. I'm currently selling my uncle's entire stamp collection, which includes autographed goods, first day editions, and gold plated stamps. Right now I'm selling some of the sheets, but later this week some of the juicier stuff will go up. But please, if something catches your eye, bid on it. My uncle could use the money, and I get a commission for my efforts. Well, that is all for now. Later.

It's going to be rough weather form now. I've decided that next week will be the week when I post up my review for Kingdom Hearts. In advance, I ask you not to send hate mail or viruses because the manga didn't live up to my expectations. Today's manga for reviwing has a lower grade if not the same.

While it might not be much of a review, a couple of thoughts on "Q-Ko-Chan" are up for your reading pleasure. I'm still working on the pictures, but the scanners been acting funny for awhile. Jaya will be here Friday with another review. Oh yeah, I hope you all had a good Halloween.
