Let's get right to the point: this is a piece of crap. From the story, to the characters, to the mutated artwork, everything about this series is a God-awful mess. The story begins with some soldiers taking a wanted criminal on board a train to her new, permanent, and less expensive home. On the train there is a strange priest reading the Bible. Suddenly the lights go out, zombies come out of nowhere...and then the author completely lost me. The priest pulls out some guns, bullets fly everywhere, the priest has an argument with himself on whether or not he's a good guy or a bad guy, and then the book ends. Okkkaaayyy...whatever. The story in this book is the most confusing and incoherent thing I've read, the artwork at times looks very gothic and at other times looks very messy, and character development is nowhere to be found. In other words this book was a complete waste of my time and money. I'm going to spare you all one of my over-analysing reviews and just tell you not to waste your money on this trash. I know that this isn't much of a review, but I have to be completely honest with you when I tell you that there IS nothing here for me to review! "Priest" is a mess, and there are plenty of other series out there that are worth your time without you wasting your time with a series like this one.
